We’re looking for a strong brand and digital designer.

The Art Director produces high-impact, original, and strategic designs across just about every medium. The priority will be on brand development, marketing campaigns, and digital– but you’ll need to pull it all together as a cohesive visual style.

The title of Art Director reflects more of your maturity as a designer than your experience as a people manager. Between Pixels uses a team model that helps us deliver a great customer experience and world-class work. You’ll be a member of our Marketing and Design team, so you’ll have the opportunity to work with a group of people who share your passion for design.

You’ll be expected to help us launch new brands and grow existing ones by designing assets that people interact with every day– and the materials our team uses to create content. From a brand guide to a billboard to a website and signage, it will be your responsibility to ensure it all looks great and connects with the right audience. You’ll do much of the work yourself, but you also need to provide great direction to other members of the team.

You’ll also work extensively on digital design and advertising, including working with the team to develop campaign concepts.  You’ll create original designs for Web sites and produce visuals for social media. While you won’t be expected to build out a website, you’ll need to understand technology and user experience design to create engaging products for the Web and mobile.

Our company is built upon trust and great relationships, both with our clients and with our fellow team members. Our clients keep working with us because they love working with us. If you’re a rock star designer but don’t work well with people, this isn’t the job for you. We hire for character over skills, but you need to have both. You also need to be curious, open to constructive criticism, and highly self-motivated.

Here are a few specific tasks you’ll be asked to do as an Art Director at Between Pixels:

  • Create the visual assets for new and existing brands
  • Produce brand guides
  • Work with the Strategist to create original marketing concepts
  • Design marketing and advertising assets
  • Design Websites and Landing Pages
  • Create templates and provide direction to other members of the team
  • Design storyboards and styleframes for motion design projects

This is a full-time position based out of our office in Marietta, GA. But we may start on a part-time or full-time contract basis for the right person. Our office is open but most of our staff is currently working remote.  You’ll be expected to come into the office as least occasionally for meetings and special events. Our post-COVID working policies are TBD.
